Officials: Cook County Jail inmate died in sleep

A 57-year-old Cook County Jail detainee died early Friday morning while he was sleeping, a spokeswoman said.

Lindbert McIntosh of the 3400 block of West Huron Street, was pronounced dead at 5:28 a.m. Friday at the jail, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
