An unidentified woman was found dead Saturday morning in Lake Michigan at Gary's Marquette Beach, according to police.
Officers were called to the beach at 7:50 a.m. regarding a female in the water, said Lt. Dawn Westerfield, public information officer for the Gary Police Department.
