Gary teen killed by stray bullet looked forward to graduation

Arion Lilly had just gotten his hair cut at the barber shop and was a block from his home when a stray bullet ended his life Thursday afternoon.

Gary police said someone in a vehicle fired shots at another car during a chase about 4 p.m. Thursday, hitting Lilly. He wasn’t identified until Saturday.
