A 31-year-old woman was stabbed Friday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
It happened about 6:30 p.m. in the 0-100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue.
The victim was standing on a corner when a female assailant approached her, stabbed her once in the abdomen, and ran away, police said.
