One person has died in a collision between a truck and an SUV near south suburban Alsip Saturday afternoon, state police said.
It happened about 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-294, near 127th Street , state police said.
The northbound lanes remained blocked as of 5 p.m., according to police.
