Elgin police are investigating a homicide on the city's far west side.
Elgin Police Cmdr. Al Young said first-responders were dispatched at 1:54 a.m. Saturday to a report of a 36-year old man bleeding in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Jansen Farm Drive, near Randall and Big Timber roads.
