Person shot outside Darien TGI Fridays

A person was shot Friday afternoon in the parking lot of TGI Fridays in Darien, police said.

The victim was shot in the abdomen in a lot on the 2200 block of 75th Street at about 2 p.m., police said. The person was taken to the hospital. The wound did not appear to be life threatening, police said.
