A 56-year-old man who was fatally shot in the East Chatham neighborhood on the South Side early Tuesday morning has been identified.
The man, identified as Marcelle Rey, was shot in the chest in the 8400 block of South Maryland Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
