Man fatally shot in Humboldt Park

A man was fatally shot Thursday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

It happened about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chicago and Lawndale avenues, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, according to a Chicago Fire Department spokesman.

The man was dead on the scene, according to the spokesman.
