Late August ruling on whether DNA evidence can be used in trial of man charged in 2005 murder of Zion girls

A Lake County judge said he will rule Aug. 30 on whether DNA evidence may be admitted as evidence in the trial of a convicted murderer also accused of killing two young Zion girls in 2005.
