Man hit by CTA Green Line train in South Loop

A man was injured when he jumped in front of a Green Line train Saturday afternoon at the Roosevelt "L" station, authorities said.

A man attempted suicide by jumping down from the platform at the Roosevelt station about 5:27 p.m., said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a police spokeswoman.
