Two children were wounded in separate shootings in Gary, Ind. on Monday night, hospital officials told WGN-TV.
An 8-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy were injured, according to Methodist Hospitals in Gary.
They were both airlifted to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment.
