1 dead, 1 wounded during East Chatham shooting

One person was killed and another was wounded during a shooting Friday afternoon on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 12:55 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Ellis Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood.

One victim was dead on the scene and a second was still being treated by paramedics...
