Two shot outside home on Aurora's West Side

Two people shot Thursday on Aurora's Near West Side are expected to survive, according to police.

At about 12:15 p.m. Thursday, the two were in front of a home on the 100 block of Chestnut Street when gunfire struck both, according to a news release from Aurora Police Lt. Jeffery Wiencek.
