Pedestrian killed in South Side hit-and-run crash

A 28-year-old man was killed early Tuesday in a hit-and-run crash in the Gage Park neighborhood on the city's South Side, police said.

About 2:45 a.m., the 28-year-old man was crossing the street in the 2300 block of West Garfield Boulevard when a car ran him over, according to Chicago police.
