1 dead after sheriff's deputy involved shooting in Englewood

An off-duty Cook County sheriff’s deputy fatally shot a robbery suspect at an Englewood neighborhood hair salon Wednesday afternoon.

It happened at Marquita’s Hair Salon, 132 W. 69th St., about 1:40 p.m. in the 0-100 block of West 69th Street, officials said.
