Police: Community Alert issued following Cragin attempted child luring

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who tried to lure a pre-school student to his car last week on the Northwest Side.

It happened about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday near the grounds of a preschool in the 4800 block of West Shakespeare Avenue in the Cragin neighborhood, police said.
